When I first connected with WorkBC Centre Whalley, I was struggling to find stable employment while adapting to my new life in Canada. Without Canadian credentials or specialized training, it was difficult to access better job opportunities. I knew that if I wanted to build a stronger career, I would need further education, but the cost and process felt overwhelming. That was when WorkBC became a turning point for me.

Throughout my settlement and employment journey in Canada, WorkBC Centre Whalley provided incredible support. The team guided me through the job search process and helped me understand the training and career development options available to me. With their help, I was able to explore educational pathways that could strengthen my skills and improve my employment prospects.

I would especially like to thank my Case Manager and Job Coach, who were key supports throughout this journey. Their guidance, patience, and willingness to help made a significant difference. They took the time to answer my questions, explain each step clearly, and encourage me whenever I felt uncertain.

With the support of WorkBC, I was able to enroll in training and begin studying at college which is an important step toward building my career in Canada. This opportunity helped me gain confidence and move forward with a clearer path for my future.

I am very grateful for the support I received from WorkBC Centre Whalley. Their guidance and encouragement helped me navigate the employment and education system in a new country. I would highly recommend WorkBC Centre Whalley to anyone looking for support, resources, and guidance in their career journey.
